During the Commit To Community Radio campaign, I was responsible for organising interviews with appropriate/active people involved in community radio and the campaign. This included attending stategy meetings and developing a plan of attack with other heads of departments and the station management.

I was struck by the storytelling potential and by the power of the image to conjure up so many different possibilities of how the shoes got there, who they belonged to and the potential stories they could tell. I thought to all the kinds of stories that could potentially explain how they came to be placed in that exact position in that location and all the different kinds of things others might come up with.
